Chloe is 5 yrs old. She is a beautiful girl. We had her rear legs examined and xrayed and it showed she has bad knees. One is essentially locked in place and the other slides back out of place when it's popped in. The vet doesn't think surgery can repair the muscles to the extent that they could hold the joint in place. We want to be up front about her leg problems before you submit an application for her. She gets around well except for a hopping to her gait from her left leg being fixed. She can't jump onto furniture, but can jump off. Chloe cannot do stairs by herself unless they are very shallow. Chloe only weighs 5 lbs and is very petite-boned. She adores children, but we wouldn't adopt to a home where small children (under 7) live, only visit. Her foster mom does have small grandchildren that visit. One was sick last week and Chloe snuggled with her on the couch. She doesn't mind cats, loves dogs (including her foster mom's Pitties and Labs). She is 75 % housetrained. She does put her in a crate to sleep at night. Chloe does not like dog beds yet. She prefers the crate or the couch. More of her sweet personality comes out every day. She is spayed, wormed, microchipped, UTD on rabies, parvo/distemper, and kennel cough vaccines, heartworm negative, had her teeth cleaned, and vet exam.
